TCI, a family-run business founded in 2001, originated when its founder embarked on a career as a self-employed kitchen fitter. A commitment to a can-do attitude and meticulous attention to detail quickly accumulated an abundance of work through referrals alone. As a result, the need for expansion became evident.

The team at TCI was thoughtfully assembled, drawing upon skilled craftsmen from various disciplines. Their paramount qualification was their ability to consistently meet and uphold the company’s elevated standards.

A broad range of skills

The TCI team now includes a wide range of specialist core skills, including general building work, design, plumbing, plastering, carpentry, heating and electrical. This means we can ensure consistently high standards whatever type of work is involved, and can project manage everything on your behalf, so you only ever have to deal with one contractor.

Home renovation throughout Suffolk and Essex

As the TCI vans become a familiar sight around Sudbury, Glemsford and Long Melford, word is spreading around Suffolk and Essex. We are now taking on projects in areas such as Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Newmarket, Ipswich, Colchester, Braintree, Halstead and Haverhill, from simple decorating and general home renovation to luxury refurbishments and home extensions.

We are proud of our reputation for high standards of our work and quality of service. We treat every home with care and respect and ensure that any project we undertake is delivered on time, on budget and at a fully competitive rate.

We don’t give “estimates”, we provide a fixed price quotation, so the price you pay upon completion of a project is exactly what we quoted at the start.

Our kitchen was installed and finished by TCI last week and I love, love , love it! We went with TCI mostly because they did our bathrooms for us a few years ago and we were super pleased with the workmanship and price then. Sheridan is such an enthusiastic person with very much a ‘can do’ attitude, which is refreshing as I had been told at other places that ‘you can’t have this’ or ‘no, you can’t do that’! He was great at advising us on what would work best for us, and with suggestions of which sink, taps, cooker hood, etc to go for. When it came to the fitting, his workforce were brilliant. They were always on time and got on and did the job with minimal mess, clearing up after each days work before they went home. We wanted an ‘all in price for the job’ (which was very competitive), with just one company project managing and doing it all from start to finish. All in all, we are very happy with our lovely new kitchen and would definitely recommend TCI.

After seeing the amazing job Sheridan and his team made with my parents house and that of another close friend, we had no hesitation in asking TCI to complete our house extension and re-design. We’ve know Sheridan for 16 years. He fitted a new kitchen for us. Later, he fitted a new bathroom. Now, Sheridan and crew came back again to remodel our kitchen. Trusting TCI on multiple occasions probably speaks for itself. However, we need to mention Matt, Terry and Mark- the crew - because they are skilled, friendly, accommodating and dependable. Sheridan is a great project manager but perhaps his greatest asset is experience and willingness to work with you ideas. Finally, for anyone who asks: recommended.
